About the Event

The tutorials represent an opportunity for the participants of SBGames 2009 to acquire technical knowledge in Game Development and Digital Entertainmentresearch fields. Every year we try to select the best proposal, based on thefollowing criteria:

  • Their relevance for SBGames Forum.
  • The expected size of the audience and their potential to attract participants to SBGames 2009.
  • The validity, usefulness, and structure of the contents.
  • Their originality.
  • The qualification of the instructors in the topic of the tutorial.

The approved tutorials will be published in the SBGames Proceedings. Two authors of the tutorial will receive a free SBGames registration.

Submission

For a proposal, the authors must submit a document using the JEMS system. This document must be structured as:

  • Tutorial Title
  • Tutorial Track: Arts & Design, Computing, Industry or Culture
  • Duration (must be 1,5 hours or 3 hours)
  • How Deep is the approach: Basic, intermediate or advanced
  • Abstract (one page)
  • Motivation (why should your tutorial be accepted)
  • Brief Curriculum of the authors
  • Software and/or equipment required for presentation.
