SUBMISSION INFORMATION AND PROCEDURES

SBGames-Game&culture allow simultaneous submission of papers and poster to other conferences, provided that this fact is clearly indicated by the authors in the submission process. All accepted papers and posters will be published in the SBGames Proceedings in separate parts. It is the conference policy that at least one of the authors of accepted papers has to register for SBGames.

The formats for papers and posters are identical, but the maximum number of pages differs in each one of these categories. Over-length works may be rejected without review. Additional material (videos, images, programs,…) can be send to be included in the CD-ROM/Site, only after the paper/poster is accepted.

All papers will be cross-reviewed by at least two referees. Papers should present substantial new results in theorethical, empirical, and applied research. Papers may be written in Portuguese or English (English encouraged), in order to increase SBGames visibility world-wide. Papers should be no longer than 10 double-column pages, including all tables, figures, and references. The oral presentation may be in English or Portuguese, preferably in English.

Posters may describe ongoing research, new ideas or surveys. Papers (written in English or Portuguese) should be no longer than 4 double-column pages, Although papers are the main target, SBGames strong stimulates the presentation of posters, because the future of game research depends of new talents testing innovative, but not yet fully developed ideas.

Authors cannot submit the same work as a paper and a poster.
The papers and posters should be sent in PDF format. You should dowload the Document Model for Submission in Word Format or PDF format.
All papers and posters will be cross-reviewed by at least two referees.

The authors should complete and sign the SBGames Copyright Release Form immediately after the notification of acceptance.
